These editors have been tested and verified. Many more editors will work with ShapeLoop overlays — if yours isn't listed, try the recommended format for similar software.
.mov overlay file.mov overlay file.mov overlay file.mov overlay file.webm file.mov overlay file.webm file.mov overlay file.mp4.mov overlay file.webm file.webm file.webm file.mp4.mov fileOn Android, use Green Screen (.mp4) with Chroma Key.

In the Download modal, you can choose your format manually or download a ZIP with all formats included.
Your editor doesn't support that format. Check the recommended format for your editor above, or try downloading the Green Screen version and use Chroma Key.
ProRes can display colors slightly different in some editors. If available, try using WebM format instead (works great in Filmora, Blender, OBS, Camtasia, Movavi).
Lower the Intensity/Tolerance slider in your chroma key settings. You can also try Edge Feather or Edge Shrink if available. This is normal for soft glow effects.
Your editor doesn't support that format. Try a different format from the Download modal — you can choose manually or download the ZIP with all formats included.
ProRes 4444 is uncompressed for maximum quality (typically 10-30MB for 3 seconds). Use WebM instead if your editor supports it — much smaller with same quality.
Make sure you downloaded the correct resolution matching your project. Check your project settings — for best quality, use ProRes 4444 format.
This is a preview-only issue caused by CapCut's hardware decoder — your exported video is not affected. It typically occurs on Macs with AMD GPUs or when your system is under heavy load (e.g. running other intensive tasks alongside CapCut). Fix: Go to CapCut → Settings → Performance → disable 'Speedup hardware decoding' → restart CapCut.
When you preview a MOV (ProRes 4444) overlay on your phone or in the Files app, it may appear with a colored background, visual distortion, or incorrect shapes. This is normal — phone video players don't fully support ProRes alpha channel rendering. Once you import the file into a supported video editor (InShot, VN, etc.), the overlay will display with perfect transparency and clean shapes exactly as designed.
After applying Chroma Key to remove the green background, the spotlight mask area may remain semi-opaque instead of fully transparent. This is more noticeable on Android editors than iPhone — iOS tends to preserve transparency better during chroma key removal. Fix: After applying Chroma Key, adjust the Opacity slider on the overlay layer to achieve the desired transparency level. Lower opacity = more see-through.
Android Downloaded files appear in your Gallery automatically. If not, open your file manager → Downloads folder — the file will be there and accessible from any video editor. iPhone iOS does not save downloaded videos to Photos automatically. After downloading: 1. Open the Files app 2. Go to Downloads folder 3. Select your file(s) 4. Tap the Share button (bottom left) → Save Video The video will now appear in your Photos library and be accessible from CapCut, InShot, KineMaster and other editors.
